What if I told you that you can lose weight while still eating tasty food full of fat?
I have struggled almost all the life of mine with abdominal fat. It's been a lifelong problem because while the remainder of my entire body was slim, I've had some abdominal fat since kindergarten, when I was selected to take out a "round robin" poem. I was traumatized in first grade every time a boy named me "Chubby Checkers" (a popular singer in the 1960s who was somewhat overweight). As he a raw foodist, I couldn't throw away the "apple shape," or perhaps having a somewhat
larger belly than hips.
That is...until I found the key of fighting fat with fat. I've currently, at age 53 and after menopause, gotten to the perfect weight of mine for the first time since high school. I could proudly wear designer jeans, and also dress like younger ladies. And best of all the, I do not struggle to keep it off. I've learned the secrets of fighting fat with fat.
In the 1980s there was a theory which we could eat all of the carbohydrates we wanted which these wouldn't be stored as fat. Extra fat on the body came largely from extra fat in the diet plan, the principle went. And there have been studies to confirm this concept, obviously. Therefore the idea was to eat as little fat as is feasible. While there's some truth to that, in that fat in the diet can more quickly be kept as body fat, individuals who adhered to this theory went overboard in under eating essential fats. They
suffered from depression, PMS, fatigue, and all types of diseases. Put simply, the body of yours needs fat. Next to oxygen as well as water, fat is the central aspect of the body.
We now know we need fat to burn up fat. We need the good fats to improve our metabolic rate. Fats are required to make hormones that burn fat. our brains require extra fat, especially the kind with DHA, making up sixty % of our brains.
Eat Monounsaturated Fats with Every Meal
Studies show that monounsaturated fatty acids, called MUFAS, Delve deeper (
visit the following website page) will be the key to getting rid of abdominal or belly fat. In The Flat Belly Diet, they teach you to break up your food into three meals and 1 snack, each one 400 calories. Every meal/snack should have about hundred calories of MUFAS. This could be 2 tablespoons of nuts (macademia nuts are especially full of MUFAS), 10-15 olives, 1/3 of an avocado, a tablespoon of acai berry, a tablespoon of olive oil, or perhaps an ounce of chocolate.
